Phototgrapher: Sara Bynum

Hi I'm Sara, the owner and photographer for Sara's Photography located in Westerly, Rhode Island. I have been photographing for almost 11 years now. I specializes in Children/Newborn portrait photography and also do a limited number of Weddings each year. I also a RI/CT photographer for the HeartsApart organization for the military.  I also photograph special needs children for free for a project I call #NoSmileUnnoticed.

I have always loved photography, before I even considered it to be my life long profession. The first time I held my first DSLR... it was like butterflies on a first date (ha ha), I was in love with my camera but even more in love with what I saw when I looked through it.  The world looks different through each individuals eyes. I love to photograph all aspects of life from maternity to family portraits and everything in between.

I am the mother of two.  I have always loved working with children, they are way cooler then us adults are.  I can be my silly, weird self and they don't judge.  I love photographing children in studio and going on location for family portraits.  I love showing my creative side with my Limited Edition Sessions I do each year.  I am happy to say that I have an awesome job and I am so grateful to the people who invite us to capture the special moments and milestones in their lives.
